The Three Most Important Elements to Creating a Successful Email Campaign:
1) Exclusivity - Subject lines that convey a sense of exclusivity generate a 22% higher open rate. (Words like: secret)
2) Urgency - subject lines that convey a sense of urgency have a 34% higher open rate. (Offer expires today)
3) Focus - limit the links/action the user can take on the email/landing page to increase conversions
